Tänk att dom har så stora fötter just där, missade på den faktiskt, läge för nästa NATO-insats där kanske. Däremot klarade jag att palmolja deklareras som vegetabiliskt fett. Kom då att erinra mig en lite smårolig sak tiden efter vårt EU-inträde, EU hade ju då strikta regler om att om ett produktnamn antydde att produkten i fråga innehöll en eller flera specifika råvaror så skulle detta framgå av innehållsdeklarationen. Minns att jag kollade på innehållsdeklarationen för en tvål, en speciell tvål, Palmolive, ni minns filmreklamen med palm- och oliv-olja rinnande ur amforor, den innehöl 0,5% palmolja och 0,5% olivolja, jaja man kan ju inte kalla en tvål för grisfett. Idag hittar jag inget sånt på tvålarnas innehållsdeklaration, tvivelsutan ett verk av tvållobbyn i Bryssel.

Kent #13. jag såg sista kvarten av klimatprogrammet. Missade att fotbollen börjat.
Ren smörja, med alla vanliga vrängningar där scenarios diskuteras som de vore verklighet. Programmet var finskt. Där verkade det finnas dubbelgångare till sina svenska motsvarigheter.
Och det var från 2008. Alltså när hysterin var som värst. Svårt att få trovärdighet i något alls, efter de senaste två årens vintrar.
Man får hoppas att intrycket på tittarna blev allmän förundran.
Varför sänder man sånt skräp, på bästa sändningstid ?

När ”Ekorren” sjöngs in fanns det ingen plan i luften att göra prognos på hur musiken skulle låta om ett halvsekel.

För fyrtio år sedan kunde inte en käft sia om bloggar, mobiltelefoner internet platt-tv, mm.
Men nu när vi befinner oss i en utvecklingsfas som ter sig ännu mer svår att överblicka tack vare alla mänskliga och tekniska framsteg har vi plötsligt fått en global rörelse med religiösa(vänster)förtecken som anser sig ha begåvats med den rätta kristallkulan in i framtiden.
Hur har profetiorna sett ut rent historiskt då och vad slags vassare och tillförlitligare instrument har vi i dag?
Härvidlag vill jag hävda att vår tidsepok inte skiljer sig från tidigare.
Och i så fall, upp till bevis.
Jag hävdar bestämt att människan har inte och ska heller inte ha en längre framförhållning än hennes egen förmodade livsålder medger.
Allt därutöver hamnar i kannstöperier eller megalomana älterier dvs det vansinne vars apologeter försöker slå sig in här på TCS och som vi har diskuterat framförallt de senaste dagarna.

As the Anthropogenic Global Warming scam continues it’s slow and inexorable death, the industries that clung to its back like renewables and the Carbon Trading Scam have started to wither and die as the AGW vine dies.
Prior to COP15 in Copenhagen and Climategate the wheels had started to come off the carbon trading wagon, as the recession bit across Europe and industrial output declined, so did emissions, which had a knock on effect on the need for investment. The recession, the corruption of the European ETS scheme and uncertainty about Cap n Trade in the US and Australia all played their part in the decline of Carbon Trading.
The Chicago Climate Exchange closed on December 31st 2010 which was another nail in the Carbon Trading coffin, further nails were hammered in as Cap n Trade legislation crashed and burned in the USA, and more recently US President Barack Obama dropped his “Settled Science” of man made climate change.
By February 2011 the economic realities of the recession had caused massive U turns in former Green policies. as European Governments looked at ways to balance their massive spending defects. Those industries expecting to be subsidised by the tax payer for their very expensive renewable and allegedly clean energy generation, had a rude awakening and smelt some not very pleasant coffee for them, their days of the bleeding the tax payer were over, the smart money got the hell out of Carbon trading, the dumb and the stupid stayed put.
Now the World Bank is warning that the Carbon Market is dying:
The international market in carbon credits has suffered an almost total collapse, with only $1.5bn (£914,248) of credits traded last year – the lowest since the market opened in 2005, according to a report from the World Bank.
A fledgling market in greenhouse gas emissions in the US also declined, and only the European Union’s internal market in carbon remained healthy, worth $120bn. However, leaked documents seen by the Guardian appear to show that even the EU’s emissions trading system is in danger.
The international market in carbon credits was brought about under the Kyoto protocol, as a way of injecting much-needed investment into low-carbon technology in the developing world. Under the system, known as the clean development mechanism, projects such as windfarms or solar panels in developing countries are awarded carbon credits for every tonne of carbon avoided. These credits are bought by rich countries to count towards their emissions reduction targets.
From its start in 2005, when the Kyoto protocol finally came into force, to 2009 the system generated a total of $25bn for developing countries. But last year’s $1.5bn was less even than the amount paid for credits in the first year of operation.
“This bodes very badly for the countries we are trying to help,” said Andrew Steer, special envoy for climate change at the World Bank. “The [carbon] market is failing us. It has done very good things in the past but it is not delivering what we feel is necessary.”

EU joins Russia, Japan and Canada – EU will only renew Kyoto Protocol if agreement covers all major economies at the same time.
Delegates from around the world are meeting in Bonn to prepare the way for this year’s climate summit in South Africa. The UN’s climate chief seems to think the time has run out for a second round of the Kyoto Protocol.
It is unclear, as yet, what will happen when the first commitment period of the sole treaty setting out legally binding emissions targets expires at the end of 2012.
The plan was to come up with a successor to the Kyoto Protocol, but with Russia, Japan and Canada all saying they will not sign up to a new round of cuts unless emerging economies such as China, India and Brazil get on board, that is not looking very likely.
The US, which has always refused to ratify Kyoto, is one of a number of countries which favors an approach based upon voluntary commitment.
Developing countries and many environmental groups observing the talks consider voluntary pledges to cut emissions a step backwards.
”We need political commitment by the end of the year at the latest,” Jan Kowalzig, climate expert with the German branch of the charity Oxfam, told Deutsche Welle. ”And if that is not forthcoming, it will spell the end of the Kyoto Protocol.”
Fråga fem av åtta har ett sakfel i svarsalternativen för så vitt jag vet är ostron ingen fiskart. Jag slutförde inte testet för maken till fördomsfullt frågeformulär har jag aldrig varit med om.

I första, sakliga, delen av programmet redogjorde en meteorolog för bland annat hur Finland påverkas av luftströmmarna från Atlanten och dessas beroende av högtrycken kring Azorerna och lågtrycken kring Island. Sen plötsligt så kommer ett par personer in på scenen, vilka kan tänkas vill hänga på en inneforskning klimatforskning, utan att ha ägnat tillräckligt med tid för att sätta sig in i ämnet! Ja, då vet vi hur det går. Ett bakslag för vetenskapen, som utnyttjas politiskt. Bakslag som allt för ofta är initierade och styrda politiskt.
