Under mina studieår kallades den ”Skinners konstant”. När jag googlade för att kolla mitt minne, såg jag några lagar till som är direkt tillämpliga på AGW-forskarna:
Skinner’s Constant:
That quantity which, when multiplied by, divided by, added to, or subtracted from the answer you get, gives you the answer you should have gotten.

Ett annat namn på Skinners konstant är ”Fudge Factor”. Detta är väl numera den korrekta klimatologiska termen eftersom den användes helt öppet i den kod som läcktes från CRU i Climategate.
