Nu får Gore svar på tal. The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) lanserar en motkampanj.
“Global warming activists warn us about the alleged threats from global warming, but are usually silent about the much more immediate threats from global warming policies,” said CEI General Counsel Sam Kazman, also the ad co-creator. “Restricting access to affordable energy is a sure recipe for increasing poverty, disease and human misery around the world.”
CEI har tidigare orsakat kontrovers genom ett par annonser med rubriken: ”CO2: They Call It Pollution; We Call It Life.”

”The Climate Project – Australia, Al Gore’s climate change leadership program with the Australian Conservation Foundation, has trained 250 people as climate change presenters.
Each trainee is personally trained by Nobel Peace prize winner Al Gore, and is schooled in the science specific to Australian climate change issues.
The aim of the training is to educate Australians on the issues and consequences of climate change, using the material in Al Gore’s famous ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ slide show.”

Allvarligt talat… borde det gå upp ett ljus (eller tändas en lampa -ursäkta ordvitsen) i någon av arrangörernas huvuden när talaren kräver miljonbelopp i arvode för ett tal i idelogisk anda?
