Lyssna på Roy Spencer

En amerikansk organisation som heter CARE (Citizens’ Alliance for Responsible Energy) kommer nu på torsdag att organisera en telefonkonferens med Dr Roy Spencer, forskare vid University of Alabama som skrivit bl.a. boken Climate Confusion.
Tanken är att man ska kunna ringa från vilken telefon man vill och lyssna på Roy Spencer samt ställa frågor till honom. För att kunna delta ska ni skicka ett mail till info@responsiblenergy.com och be om ”access number and code”. Vill ni ställa frågor kan ni skriva dem i mailet.
Telefonkonferensen börjar i morgon torsdag kl 11 am ET, dvs. kl 17.00 svensk tid.
Roy W. Spencer is a principal research scientist for the University of Alabama in Huntsville and the US Science team leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer (AMSR-E) on NASA’s Aqua Satellite. In the past, he has served as senior scientist for climate studies at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. Spencer is the recipient of NASA’s Medal for Exceptional Scientific Achievement and the American Meteorological Society’s Special Award for his satellite based temperature monitoring work. He is the author of numerous scientific articles that have appeared in peer-reviewed journals. His areas of research expertise include satellite temperature data, hurricanes, the Interfaith Stewardship Alliance, the evangelical movement and global warming and general climate issues.
